How to Adopt Our Cats

Our resident cats are not only adorable but also looking for their forever homes. If you fall in love with a furry friend during your visit, inquire about our adoption process.

All visitors to the cat lounge are required to have a waiver signed. An online copy can be found here. Waivers have to be signed by a parent or legal guardian for people under 18.

The adoption process:

1. Visit the ACC adoption website to find the name and photo of the cat you want to adopt: https://www.accgov.com/9480/Cats
2. Click on the cat's name and then click on "Interested in this pet?" button to fill out the online application.
3. Wait to be notified that the adoption application is approved by Athens Clarke County Animal Services or Entangled Cat Cafe.
4. Pick up you cat from Entangled Cat Cafe. This can take just a few minutes during business Athens Clarke County Animal Services. 
1. Fill out an adoption contract and show your driver's license.
2. Pay the $75 adoption fee.
5. Take your cat home! You will need a carrier to be able to take the cat with you.
