The Fabulous Ms. Frizzle

The Fabulous Ms. Frizzle

Entangled Cat Cafe would like to introduce Ms. Frizzle, our cat of the month for July. Ms. Frizzle's story highlights one of the risks animal rescues encounter when placing animals for adoption. She was with Circle of Friends Animal Society as a kitten and was adopted into a home. Earlier this year, five years after her adoption, she was found wandering the streets of town and was picked up as a stray by local animal control.

Unfortunately, no one knows what happened to Ms. Frizzle or what she experienced in the years since COFAS last had contact with her adopter and when she was brought to the animal control shelter. Thankfully, animal control contacted COFAS since her microchip was registered originally to them. Understanding that difficult circumstances can occur, it is their policy to always take back back rescues when necessary. They tried contacting her original adopter with no response, so they picked her up from animal control and brought her to one of their foster homes.

Ms Frizzle is a survivor. She has been back with COFAS since February and is a sweet and precious girl. Shy and scared at first, she was never intended to be an outside cat. Ms. Frizzle is now very comfortable in her foster home and loves to lay on laps. She has a delightful purr, enjoys a cat tree, and can be very playful with wand toys and her round cat scratcher with the attached ball. She loves attention from people she's familiar and comfortable with and will purr constantly when being petted. Ms. Frizzle is still initially timid with strangers, but with a slow introduction she will quickly become someone's best friend.

The Entangled Team believes Ms. Frizzle is so deserving of a truly furever home, and we would love to help make that happen for her. The adorable Kaboodle CharCATerie Board is our product of the month to sponsor Ms. Frizzle. Half the profits from each board sold during July will be donated to Circle of Friends Animal Society to help support Ms. Frizzle. Please visit the COFAS website here if you are interested in adopting or learning more about Ms. Frizzle or their other adoptable pets.
