Presenting Afghan

Introducing our first cat of the month for 2026! Afghan is a sweet Tortie who came into foster care with Circle of Friends Animal Society in July 2025 as a mama cat with a litter of kittens. Even though she had already finished with her mama duties, COFAS never leaves a mama cat behind, and Afghan was rescued along with her babies. While all but one of her kittens have all found their furever homes, Afghan is still patiently waiting for her own special someone to come along and sweep her off her paws.

Afghan is a typical Tortie with gorgeous coloring and a big purrsonality. She absolutely loves attention and is a total people cat.  She much prefers being held and petted to being on her own.  Afghan is estimated to be about a year and a half old and is in perfect health.  She thrives on playtime, purrs until she drools, and has the cutest little chirp when she's ready for attention.

This sweet mama cat is patiently waiting for her happily ever after, and you could be the one to make her dreams come true. Who knows? You might just find that Afghan is the missing piece to your purrfect family puzzle!
