Up to 4lbs Granny Smith Apples 

1 Can Dulce de Leche

2 tsp Lemon juice

1/4 cup Bourbon

1/4 tsp salt

Flakey salt for topping 


-Halve the apples and scoop out the core. Make a small slice on each underside so they sit stable on a tray.   Coat the inside with Lemon Juice to prevent browning. 

-In a saucepan on low heat, melt together the Dulce de Leche, your favorite Bourbon, and Salt. 

-Pour the warmed boozy goodness into the apple halves. Chill until firm. 

-Sprinkle with Flakey Salt

-Once solidified, cut into wedges and serve!
